Improving the IBD patient experience requires strong communication, timely connections to care, and an understanding of the barriers patients may face outside the exam room.

Living with Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis can sometimes feel isolating. Connecting with others who understand the challenges of living with IBD can provide encouragement, information, and a sense of community.

Provides graduate social work students with hands-on experience within a community-based nonprofit serving individuals and communities affected by Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.
