The Stephanie A. Wynn Foundation

The Stephanie A. Wynn Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2021 following Founder Stephanie A. Wynn’s transformative near-death experience with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), specifically Crohn’s Disease.

This pivotal experience deepened her appreciation for survival and illuminated the critical need for greater access to healthcare, education, financial resources, navigation, and support for individuals and communities affected by IBD, with particular attention to those experiencing significant barriers to care.

Today, the Foundation works to improve outcomes for individuals and families affected by Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis through patient navigation, provider and community education, trusted resources, partnerships, and support.

Our Mission

To eliminate health disparities and improve outcomes for individuals and communities affected by Inflammatory Bowel Disease through comprehensive support services, with priority given to underserved populations facing the greatest barriers to healthcare.

Our Vision

To enhance the quality of life for all individuals affected by Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis by improving access to quality healthcare, financial support, education, and community resources.

We envision a future where zip code, economic status, or demographic background does not determine health outcomes, with particular focus on reducing the disproportionate burden of IBD in communities experiencing the greatest health disparities.
